Moon Lake Reopens to Public Fishing and Boating

Jackson Mississippi - June 6, 2011- Moon Lake in Coahoma County has been reopened to recreational boating and fishing. Moon Lake was closed due to historical flood waters causing public safety concerns and to prevent further damage to homes and property. Boaters should continue to exercise caution and good judgment while waters levels remain above normal.
