New locations open to fishing and boating

As of June 6, the Mississippi River, Yazoo River, Lakeview in DeSoto County, Tunica Cutoff in Tunica County, and Moon Lake in Coahoma County are open to all fishing and boating.
Chotard, Albemarle, Airplane, Tennessee Lakes in Issaquena County will be open to all fishing and boating when the Mississippi River reaches 48.0 feet at the Vicksburg gauge. The US Army Corps of Engineers forecasts the Mississippi River to reach 48’at Vicksburg Wednesday, June 8th.
Ferguson Lake in Washington County, and Beulah and Whittington Lakes in Bolivar County will be open to all fishing and boating when the Mississippi River registers 50.0 feet on the Greenville gauge. The US Army Corps of Engineers forecasts the Mississippi River to reach 50.0 feet at Greenville on Saturday, June 11th.
Before heading out, please confirm the river stage has officially reached the appropriate level at the appropriate gauge site at www.rivergages.com.
Eagle Lake in Warren County and Wolf/Broad Lake in Yazoo County still remain closed until further notice.
